CMI Features
Module
The CMI Features Module uses your API Key and Secret to communicate with the iJCMIN and pipe featured and/or latest projects to your page.
You can have the listings:
- scroll
- set the scroll height
- and choose what you want to show inside the module.
We have made it easy for you to get projects published to your page in the left or right column.
Note: you must have the
Component installed for the Module to work.
General Information
Offer Your Users a
Freelance Markeplace!
iJobid.com is actively
looking for Partner sites powered by Joomla! 1.5x. We
have made it easy for you offer your user community a freelance
marketplace for one of our major categories. iJobid will manage your
marketplace for you, including escrow services and fee collection and
all you need to do is register your site with us, download and install
the component and register your site with us, and invite your users to
try it.
What exactly is this?...
This is the iJobid Client
Marketplace Interface Network (iJCMIN). It is a group of web sites that
have representations of the iJobid.com Marketplace on them, thus feeding
in projects and service providers. Based on the information you register
with us here we serve up a representation of our
Marketplace that looks like part of your site with an easy user
interface. Users choose whether or not to add their information and use
the marketplace.
You feed the Network, and
The Network feeds you!
You wonât just be partnering with
us, but with the entire network. iJobid.com acts like a hub for service
providers to connect with service buyers. Projects that get
posted on xyz.com, get posted on iJobid.com and all other sites on the
network that are part of that category. You get credit for Projects that
are posted on your marketplace and you get credit when one of your
userâs gets awarded that project.
How much $$$ do you make?...
iJobid.com is a commissioned base
marketplace. When a project is posted and subsequently awarded, the two
major parts of the transaction are complete, and the service provider
pays a commission upon being paid for the job. Payment is based on these
two parts and is 25% for each part. If your site produces both the buyer
and the seller that means 50% of the final commission for the project is
yours. Its a Partnership.
We use a tiered commission
structure that diminishes as the contract award gets higher. The maximum
commission to be paid depends on the category and can be either $500 or $200. The fees are roughly 5% of final value for
the contract. See Fees

That means when a $10,000 or
higher contract is awarded a $500 CDN commission is generated and your
potential profit is $250.00.
Currently, your website needs to
be powered by Joomla! 1.53. Then you must Register
Here. This will register you as the administrator of your marketplace @
iJobid and let you access your user profile and iJobid account (this
is where all of your earnings are tracked). This process will give you
your iJobid.com CMI API Key and CMI Secret. You need these two pieces of
identification for your new marketplace to work. You can then download
the Joomla! Component and install it on your web server, and configure
your marketplace
Can I change the way my
Marketplace looks?...
Yes. We have included a *.css file
called styles/extrastyle.css that loads into your Joomla! document. This
is where you can override our styling rules. We have configured the
system to uptake certain Joomla! 1.53 styling rules automatically, but
you can apply your own styling to the class throughout the system.
What about my Userâs asking
questions?...
Users have access to the iJobid
Knowledgebase (which will be part of your site). Also part of your
marketplace configuration tasks includes setting up a marketplace email
that you will automatically forward to us, letting us handle any
questions that come in. Then there is the iJobid Forum, which all your
users have access to (through your website) to ask questions.
